How many ounces ?

Hey mommies! It's been awhile since I've been on. I was jus curious, how many ounces of breasrmilk is ur baby eating when bottle fed? My baby is 2mo and will take 6oz, sometimes even more.

All babies are different. At that age my daughter would take about 4 oz and go 2-3 hours before eating again.

My DD is 5 weeks and takes about 5 hours, but then lasts at least the 4 hour interval. If she breastfeeds until she falls asleep, she only lasts about 2-3 hours max.

Michael e will take 2-2.5oz every 2 hrs. Most breast fed babies only need 1-1.5 oz per hour because breastmilk 'S caloric count increases as baby gets older. When bottle feeding breast milk it is important to do paced bottle feeding so you don't over feed your baby. A baby will eat more breastmilk from a bottle than they need because the flow is faster and they won't feel full until they have over eaten. Think of when an adult eats too much, they usually don't say "Oh I ate too much" until after its too late.
