Breastfeeding

Caitlyne • Bonus mom to 2💜💙 Bio mom to 1 💜
I was just sitting in bed, feeding Avah (my daughter of 1 month) when her uncle (age 4 or 5) comes down, stands next to me and strokes her head and says "she's so cute" "she has the hiccups"
He had mistaken her gulping for the hiccups.
He had no clue I was even breastfeeding, despite the boob in her mouth! Even once I told him she was eating, he questioned what she ate "what food does she eat". I told him she eats milk and whatever I eat, she basically eats!
Then he continued on to say she was cute.
This goes to show it's society who has conditioned people to over sexualize breasts.
This little boy payed no attention, saw nothing wrong.
For the sanity of breastfeeding moms, stop sexualizing our damn milk storage and dispensing bags! I sure as hell didn't go thru a week and a half of pain and discomfort just to feel uncomfortable feeding my baby.
Look away if it makes you uncomfortable.
