I'm getting worried!! 😧😱 HELP!

My period is two days away and yesterday and today I had light brown discharge and this has never happened to me and I had x rays on Wednesday because of my broken nose could that mess with my hormones?? Or could it be my birth control pills? This usually happens after sex and I haven't been having sex!? :/ help, be nice please!
