How to make twins??

I have a curiosity to know how to conceive twins?? Is it in our hands that we can conceive twins if we want without any hereditary background?? Please help

I have several twins on my side of the family. Aunts, Uncles, cousins, I'm a twin, and 2 of my sisters have twins. It's very likely for my twin and I to have twins as well.

I'm a twin and people that aren't a twin have a better chance of getting twins instead of the twins themselves :/  . Also if u go to a doctor for a baby you have a higher chance of getting twins. That happened to my aunt but the other twin died

Identical twins happen spontaneously to anybody. That happens when one fertilized egg splits into 2 early in the pregnancy. Fraternal twins occur when the ovary releases 2 eggs. This is usually genetic, but there is a slight possibility of it happening without genetic influence at all. There is no absolute way of making yourself have twins. Even with in vitro fertilization or IUI, the doctors implant more than one embryo because of the high probability that one or more embryo will not take (they can implant 3 and none of them may take or any/all of them could). You can only have identical twins if it's passed down on your mothers side of the family because that's when your 1 egg splits and becomes 2 eggs but  anyone can have fraternal twins because that's when you have 2 eggs and both get fertilized but other than having a doctor implant the fertilized eggs into you I don't really think there is a way to make yourself have twins

I'm an identical twin and just found out I'm having non-identical twins. We didn't do anything different so was a massive surprise.

A lot of risks come with twin pregnancy 
:/ I would look into them before asking this.

It's to do with the mothers genes and whether or not they run in the family. But just because they do doesn't mean you would have twins
