Vitex and Maca Root

I've been taking both since January and my periods are usually awful--cramps, heavy flow, headaches...the whole nine yards. But this month I had NO signs my period was about to come. It came 5 days early. And I haven't had a single cramp or sore breasts. Is this normal?
