She is 6 months and we couldn't handle rocking her to sleep up to 6x a night anymore. Night 1 cry it out with comforting went surprisingly well! Cried less than 20 mins at bedtime (730pm), cried less than 10 mins at a 1030pm wake up, I nursed her as long as she wanted at 2am wake up, she cried less than 10 mins at 530am wake up, and slept all the way to 815am!!! Truly amazing! We comforted her with a pat and song after 3 mins, then 5 mins. We never even made it to the 10 minute cry it out, she'd fall asleep on her own. I did let her keep her lovey in the crib. Fingers crossed for night 2!
