Pepto Bismol - 7w4d upset stomach

Everything I've read says it's safe, I can't take gravol because it knocks me out even the non-drowsy kind my whole life. I just need to be able to walk around for 2 or 3 hours & drive an hour total in the car. I'm only going to use it for that one time, I don't see my Dr until the 27th to ask her but what I've read says it's safe to take, but what are all of your opinions on it? Ginger ale only works for me if I'm sitting down quietly relaxing so that's kinda out of the question.
