Baby gas

Anyone else's baby get super fussy when they have gas or need to poop? Our girl has a hard time passing gas because she gets so worked up. We do bicycle legs with her which helps some but other times she is already so worked up nothing helps. Any mom's tried the windy frida or gripe water and had luck?

also she doesn't ball up and cry for hours or anything like that so we know it's not colic. I'm thinking she is just getting used to bodily functions. She just seems so uncomfortable it kills me to watch and not be able to help her.

Update: hubby called the pediatrician to ask today since she is still having issues. Gripe water helped but didn't fix it all the way. The nurse said that at 2 weeks babies start showing the 1st signs of colic. One of the 1st signs is bad gas that is hard to pass. She suggested Gerber Soothe drops. I'll update after a few days to let you mamas know how they work. Praying she isn't a colicky baby!
