Newborn will only sleep on my chest
My two week old daughter will only sleep well if she's laying on my or my husband's chest. We swaddle her, nurse her to sleep, and we have a dockatot. However, when I put her down she inevitably wakes up soon after and can't go back to sleep. We keep our dockatot in the bed with us so we're right next to her to comfort her, but unless she's held she will not sleep on her own. I know you can't spoil a newborn, and I love all the cuddles, but a part of me is afraid she'll never grow out of this! Has anyone else had an experience like this?
