How many were you when you went in for your first prenatal appointment? I'm currently 7w4d and still haven't gone to the doctor.. and at how many weeks do they usually do ultrasounds?

My Dr normally sees you around 9-10 weeks and does the first ultrasound around then. I saw him at 10 weeks due to holidays and I'm high risk

I was 8 weeks when they had me come in but I had never had a Pap smear before or been to the gyno so they did that at my first check up and had me come back 2 weeks later for my ultra sound

Usually the most common time they take you is 12 weeks unless you had a miscarriage in the past or a high risk pregnancy.

I had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks 4 days to confirm my due date, but all doctors are different.

A lot of ob clinics won't see you until 10w+
Howeve because where I'm located at. My ob didn't give me an ultrasound until 20w. But at every appointment I did have. We did get to listen to the heartbeat.

my midwife wouldn't see me until i was 10 weeks. that's when i also got an ultrasound to confirm how far along i was. then i got the anatomy ultrasound at 20 weeks and found out the gender. i'll get another one at 30 weeks because i have partial placenta previa. and that'll be it unless something's wrong.

I had a blood test and ultrasound at 6 weeks 6 days, but that was because I had some spotting early on. My first prenatal visit was at 10w4d and that consisted of a pelvic exam, family history, and doppler. It's probably different everywhere but my OB said they like to schedule the first visit around 10 weeks.
