How long did you have menstrual type cramps before labor and how did they start?

Menstral like cramping paired with back pain going in waves, thats what i describe my back labor as.  I didnt have the contractions in my belly at all. So i didnt actually know that i was in labor right away. I only went to the doctor because my back pain was getting so bad that i didnt know what else to do. I was shocked when they told me i was going to have a baby

Menstrual cramps were my first sign of labor ! I noticed them early in the morning , and realized they were on and off and getting more painful over time. Just start timing the cramping!

I got my 16 hours before I delivered. And I didn't think anything of them until my water broke 😑

I started having them Thursday before bed and right up until Friday evening. At 8:30 my contractions started and had baby at 12:28am Saturday! I would say it's probably pre labor!
