Not how I planned to spend my weekend

We are home now but I spent the weekend at the hospital with my 2 week old. She projectile vomits after some feeds (think exorcist) so she had an ultrasound and has borderline pyloric stenosis. They were monitoring her but luckily they decided that they don't need to do surgery yet. I had never heard of it but it's when the muscle at the bottom of the stomach is thicker then normal so sometimes when she eats it doesn't go to her intestines and ends up being shot back up. Hers isn't bad, she was only slightly dehydrated and is still gaining weight. It sucked seeing her with 2 IVs and a heart rate monitor, couldn't even cuddle her normally. For now we just have to keep an eye on her and we may be able to avoid surgery all together.
