Same middle name?

So, my best friend and I were pregnant together. She had her baby two days ago. Her middle name is Mae. She is just precious. 😍

I have always wanted to be a mom so I've had names chosen for a long time. She knew Mei (pronounced Mae) was on my list before we got pregnant. She chose Mae because it was her boyfriends grandmas name. ❤

Anyway, our little girl is not due until the end of May. We planned on naming her Athena Mei. I even asked her if it was okay that I still use it. She said it was definitely okay. (It's a middle name). Do you think it is okay for me to use that middle name when my good friend used it for her daughter?

Well if she has the middle name first it's only fair that she has for her baby. Of my friend took the middle name i wanted i would be upset. Then realize i can find another name instead.
