birth story .

March 10,2017 there's was no baby movement . All throughout the day I jump hopped and skipped and literally did everything that usually makes baby move . 🤸🏽‍♀️I called my doctor and they said go to the emergency room . When I got to the emergency room at 9:30 pm n they monitored me for 30 minutes baby started moving and it was time for discharge n when checked at this point I was not even to 1cm yet but I was having contractions I couldn't feel n some that felt like Braxton hicks n the only way I knew was the nurse was telling me but I was waiting on my discharge papers when a nurse ran in and put me on my side n put an oxygen mask on me ..... baby's heart beat was missing 😳 then they finally got her back n said she was maybe laying on her cord ..... 🤷🏽‍♀️ then I had to be monitored for an hour or two n everything was ok n it was discharge time again then I was checked n I moved to 3.5cm n then she said they would need to monitor me for another few hours Cus I had moved fast ..... then an hour passed n it was time to be checked but I had a hard feeling of needing to pee but it felt like pee was stuck . I told her before u stick ur fingers please let me go I would hate to pee on u n then when I sat up I said oooooh not pee and rushing down like a waterfall my water broke n I was sent to labor n delivery n when checked i was 6cm . Btw all this time my contractions I couldn't feel or felt like light Braxton hicks but now after my water broke I was feeling them this time 😣 I was a maniac I moved all around , did squats . Threw up , peed many times and did a #2 n all that surely put me further cus now I was at 7.5cm when the doctor continued to ask about medicine n I just said yes cus she was annoying . I was managing my pain like a maniac but I was fine . I am just not the one to sit still in pain , I like to move n forget it in my head by distracting myself n that's what I was doing . Then a new nurse came on a few minutes later n had to check again before giving me meds but when she checked I was 9cm n couldn't get the meds cus I was too far n now I was 9cm n a little pissed cus now this lady has turned my mind to meds 😦.... I was moving very quickly but stuff had stopped for a little n then I wanted to rest so I can have energy for pushing n little minute after it cranked up ALOT n all I know is I was on my hands n knees on the bed yelling for everyone to put pressure on my back n screaming through contractions to relieve the pain . Then I was pushing a few minutes later and Kehlani Frith was born at 9:09 am march 11,2017 . It all went fast but it was a process that challenged the strength of my mind .
