Calling him daddy?

So I've been talking to this guy for a few months, but we aren't dating. Last night he told me he wants me to call him daddy which I thought was kinda weird. Am I wrong to think it's weird?

No. You're not wrong. I wouldn't be comfortable calling a guy "Daddy" unless it's my father. If you don't wanna, then you don't have to!

I think it all depends on your preferences. I know a few girls that do call their boyfriends daddy - but most of them didn't have father figures growing up or are completely detached from the word and don't mind. I personally couldn't because all I would imagine is my dad...and that's SO weird. I have occasionally called my boyfriend "papi" which is daddy in Spanish though haha, but it's more of a slang word down here in Miami.
