early scan?

I couldn't handle two weeks so I went to an independent ultrasound place today. Since I had just come off the pill when I got my BFP it's hard to say when I ovulated and whatnot... according to my LMP I should be 7w3d but the tech said it doesn't appear I'm that far along yet and wasn't able to detect a heartbeat, though she did see the yolk sack. Anyone else go in super early and see something similar? Wondering if maybe I'm closer to 5 weeks than what we were thinking. Just need some reassurance here!!! Mildly panicking due to no heartbeat. The tech did reiterate that at this early an abdominal ultrasound (like we did) it's hard to see much of anything.
