lotus baby?

Question

Has anyone had a lotus baby? If so I wanted to know how your journey was with your little one. I want to explore all birth options but this one in particular is quite intriguing to me.

I did delayed cord clamping, but I don't know anyone who has done a lotus. I fully believe in the benefits of delayed cord clamping. My son wasn't jaundice and had excellent color from birth. I do still have my placenta in my freezer though. We're going to plant a lime tree on my sons first birthday with his placenta. It was my midwife's idea as she did a lemon tree with her daughters.

I do delayed cord clamping and then have my placenta encapsulated. I don't do the lotus birth, so I can have my placenta.
