Boyfriend problems idk...

Okay so my boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 2 months. He has recently been saying I'm "clingy". There's times when he won't text me back for 5+ hours and when I tell him about it I'm "clingy". It's stupid he says that we r taking our relationship too fast but then he's okay with meeting my family this weekend. He's not a cheater. His sister(my best friend) is my best friend and they r super close she tells me that it'll take time for him to open up to me. Idk it's just alot to try to explain....

Oh and everyone on my side knows about him but no one on his side does (except his sister and uncle) but not his mom or dad or Grandma, etc,etc

There were times when we had stuff planned to do like have dinner or go out then he would tell me how a family member or friend would need help with something ​and I would feel blown off...

There was also this other time when I was at his place and his friend (guy friend and his gf too) came over and I stay in the bathroom for 15 minutes hiding until his they left.... After that happened I came out of the bathroom and he didn't even apologize

He doesn't want anyone to know about me and it always seems to lead to his ex and how she hurt him. He won't tell me what happened between them. I told him that if he was still in love with her we can't be together and he said no he wasn't that he loves me.

It's just complicated idk what to do I'm always waiting for him. Either for a reply or when he's not busy to see him....

I'm to the point where I don't get my hopes up to see him or talk to him.... I tell myself if he wanted to talk to me he would if he wanted to see me he would.
