1st thing, you're being very very insensitive. Of course he's going to be upset, love doesn't go away, he might not be in love with her but he would still have some connection as it's his child's mother. Why shouldn't the child be with her dad? She has just lost her mum and because you don't feel comfortable she could lose her dad. This has actually made me angry. Of course he will be upset, of course his child should come live with him assuming he has a stable home. I think you should leave him as that's what's best for him. Do not stand in the way of him having his daughter full time.

I think you should leave him because he deserves way better then someone who only thinks of themself 🙄 wow. This actually made me angry to read. When you lose someone its hard whether your in love with them or not death is hard. The child should live with him because he is the fucking father of her why the hell wouldnt he want to take in his own child?! If your so uncomfortable with it then get your own place.

Firstly, you're an insensitive bitch. Straight up. 
Secondly, she is HIS CHILD! She is NOT A DAMN POSSESION THAT CAN BE PASSED AROUND! He has every right to have her move in. That poor child has no idea what's happening right now, and even if she does, she still needs someone to support her, love her and help her grieve. What better person than her own daddy. I'm sure they would help each other in the grieving process. 
Thirdly, of course he would cry. At one point he loved her, even past tense she was the mother of his child. The poor guy is probably crying for their child too. He must be fucking heartbroken for their daughter - she has just lost her mother. 
Finally, that little girl won't stop him from having children with you but I'm damn sure reproducing with you isn't anywhere in his thought process right now. He wants to be their for his daughter when she needs him most. Don't be a heartless bitch cause him and the daughter will most likely resent you for it in the future.

Wow I think your being awfully selfish. Your partner had a connection with that woman they had a child together no matter what he will have some kind of feeling for her she is the mother to his child. If my stepsons mother died I wouldn't even hesitate to have my stepson come live with us. Of course your partner wants his child to be with him and I'm sure the child wants to be with their father they have just lost their mother and now you want them to feel rejected by their father because you are being selfish. Just because you have his child in your house it will not stop you from having more children that is a very immature thing to say but now you need to support your partner and your stepchild and stop thinking about yourself or lif you can't do that then maybe you shouldn't be in this relationship

Probably because that's his daughter. She belongs with her father. I in no way love my ex and father of 2 of my 4 kids but if he died I would still be hurt mainly for my kids that just lost their father. That poor child just lost her mom  and he may not have romantic feelings for his child's mom but when you have a child together you will always care about them in some way because they are your child's parent.

He should have his daughter, his daughter needs her daddy and her daddy needs her.. please don't interfere with that. If you can't handle his child then you shouldn't be with him. Also he is grieving, he does have the right to, he had a child with the her, he will always have a feeling for her no matter what and different feelings then you will think, it's because she is the mother of his child, he is grieving for himself and his child. 
I would cry and break down if my son's dad passed away, because I will always love him for being my son's father but I don't love him in away that we would ever get back together.

As for the crying, they had a child together? They once shared a connection? My parents got divorced 15/16years ago but i know they would be upset, if not for themselves but for me and my brother. Its natural.

Are you serious right now?! Oh course he's upset. The mother of his child just died!! While he may not be IN love with her, a part of him will ALWAYS love her no matter what. They created a life together! For you to say other people are "willing" to take her...she's not a dog. She's a child who has no idea what just happened. That's HIS flesh and blood so 100% she should be with her father. If you can't accept that or even have the balls to ask a man to choose between you or his child then he should be leaving you! My husband HATES his ex wife and she hates him but I know a part of him will always love her because she gave him their 3 daughters and I would take them in full time if something happened to her. He's a package deal like it or not. It's all or nothing.
