anyone else having a natural birth ?

I'm due next saturday and I'm getting anxious about everything....anyone have any words of encouragement or any uplifting words... I'm having a water birth and I've done my homework and heard nothing but amazing things 🙂

That's my plan! 
It's really nice to find encouraging people on here. Everyone in my "real life" (except for my husband and our birth class teacher) is convinced I won't be able to have a natural birth, want to labor in the tub or be able to do it without an epidural. It's really bringing me down!

Unfortunately I can't birth the baby in the tub at the hospital but I can labor in the tub right up until it's time to push. I will tell you that when I had my first being able to labor in the tub was incredible. It was so much easier to relax and I specifically chose the same hospital this time because I want that tub. Lol. You can absolutely do this naturally. Of course is going to hurt like nothing you've ever felt before and you may even get to a point where you don't think you're going to make it but usually when you get to that point you're at the end and it's almost over anyhow. I was absolutely determined to have my first naturally and my husband was so worried about my pain that he kept telling me "no one will blame you if you get an epidural" but I refused and I'm glad I did. I will be having this one naturally as well. You've got this! Don't let anyone talk you into thinking you don't. Just remember to practice some breathing and relaxation techniques and definitely enjoy that tub 😉

I really wanted a water birth that was my goal with this pregnancy. But I was told by my hospital that I can start off in the tub but I can't give birth in there. Which really sucks.

I'm having a natural birth at home, but not a water birth. You'll do great! My only advice, the reason I didn't want a water birth, is to make sure you do some hard laboring out of the tub some too as the water can slow things down a bit. Also, have someone in the tub to help support baby's head or do it yourself so you're less likely to tear! Good luck!!!

I was due yesterday and having a home water birth if all goes according to plan ... and if this baby actually decides to come out lol I feel so powerless..

I had all natural births so far, but no water births yet. My insurance would not cover them, and i gave up on looking into it after that. 
 My births were all at hospitals, but no medications were needed, no interventions. I labor and deliver really quick. My first 2, labor and deliveries combined equal less than 5 hours total. Lol.

People around us have all been very encouraging and I really hope it's in me! As it gets closer I get more nervous but I'm just going to try to focus on the why's and not the ifs

I'm due the 8th and planning a natural birth as well. Everyone thinks I'm crazy "why be in pain if you don't have to" is what I get a lot. Or they say something to my husband about how it is going to be terrible for him. My husband is supportive of it and my mom as well. My mom had 5 kids naturally so I figure I can as well.
