Question for Teen Moms

I'm 19 so idk if I'm really considered a "teen mom" So I live with my husband and I don't visit my mom's house because I don't get along with my dad. So anyways I'm 5 months and I know the gender (girl) already and I still haven't told her. I've told everyone except my parents. Idk how to tell her because I have no intentions on going over to my parents house. My mom is a moody person and I want to catch her on a good day when my dad isn't around her. I'm thinking about calling her or texting her but I hear that's rude. How did you tell your mom?
