will a ear infection go on it's own

I've had a ear infection now for 4 months

I seen the doctor two weeks ago and she said I have fluid in my ear which means my infection is going. She didn't give me nothing not even antibiotics.

2 weeks have past and the pain is still there

It's as if someone is squeezing something in my both ears, I have extreme unbearable pain, that is making me also feel dizzy.

Does a ear infection go on it's own? 
My doctor doesn't have a clue!!!!!

I've had this now for a month! 
The first time I seen a doctor her ear piece broke so she couldn't look in my ear and sent me awAy.

Sick of this pain 😢😢😢😢😢

I would go to a different doctor. Ear infections do not often go away on their own, especially if you've already had it for a month

Fluid in your ear does not mean it's going away. Quite the opposite actually. It means there's some sort of infection probably going on. It also depends on how deep it's in there. Is it outside of the clear canal? Is it your inner ear behind the canal? It really depends. There's viral or bacterial infections...? Do you swim a lot or have you recently before the infection began? 
You need drops. Not pills. Antibiotic drops.

My son kept getting ear infections, so we took him to a chiropractor instead of giving him his 6th round of antibiotics since December. The chiropractor adjusted him, and now his ears drain properly and the ear infection is clearing up.

What kind of a doctor was this?! You need antibiotics and sudafed!
