anyone else with mother in law drama?

So I thought it was okay to tell my bf if he could ask his mom if she could tell her youngest son to keep his distance from my baby for a while since he kept coughing all weekend. His mom got all angry and said "he's not fucking sick he had a fcking fever Friday k! Went away already"
We all know the virus still stays for couple days..... anyways with her attitude i rolled my eyes out of anger and she got all mad. 
Next day she only told her son and grandson hi and made like I wasn't there
Then my bf and I pierced our sons ears and he sent it to their family group chat and she said "wtf son why you did that? He looks like a girl now" 
I didn't care if she was joking or not. But I didn't like that she said my son looked like a girl and made us feel like we werent supposed to pierce his ears... 
so I posted on my ig that he didn't look like a fcking girl. I have family on my ig and didn't want them calling him a girl either.
So she texted her son

P.S. I also had to tell my SO little bro not to hold or go around my baby one night we were at his parents house because he told me once we got there that he had a fever the night before and he tattled to his mom (he is about to be 21!!!) and she was so mad us because she thought we were being over dramatic!!! It's ridiculous my daughter was only 2 months old when this happened it could've been really bad for her to get a fever! Mind you she was sick with a slight cold a week before this and during that time she told my SO that it isn't normal for you to be sick and that we need to be more careful😡 my SO has no relationship with his mom and now he doesn't want our daughter anywhere near his mom and she hasn't talked to us in almost 3 months!!

Honestly my MIL has been an absolute nightmare I totally feel your pain! She would make rude side comments when I was a brand new mom and made me feel like I was doing everything wrong. She would tell me I was tightening the car seat straps too tight and that my baby was always freezing cold finally my SO had to sit her down and tell her to back off because it was getting so bad that we couldn't even go over there. Unfortunately she has made it so that we can no longer have contact with her because she was so opinionated on how we are deciding to raise our daughter and she wanted everything her way. It's a shame but maybe have your BF sit her down and hopefully her pride will be less important than her relationship with her grandchild I wish you the best of luck hun!!!!
