My bf and I have talked about marriage. We know we want to spend the rest of our lives together. He is 23 and he has already been married. He was single for 2 years before I met him. However he wants to get married in a courthouse and I've always wanted  an outdoor wedding. Complete with dress and walking down aisle, reception, etc... I even compromised and moved my location idea from Georgia to here on my dads farm. I don't want anything huge or obscenely expensive. Hell I want food like grilled chicken, hamburgers, basically a cookout. With lawn games and a bonfire with smores. I don't feel like I'm asking a lot. He just says they are stressful and if we love each other it shouldn't matter if we have a wedding. Heck the dress I'm looking at only cost $180. Ugh!!! It makes me sad to think I may not get to have my dream wedding. Am I being silly? Should I just give in and marry at the courthouse?
