38 weeks today and having pre labor symptoms?

I'm 38 weeks today and I woke up at about 5 am feeling menstrual like cramps and radiating lower back pain for about 20 minutes. It slowly went away after I went pee a little bit. Anyone else experience the same thing?

Me too last night! It started with a headache, then the sweats, then I thought i was going to puke because I was so nauceous but I didn't, thankfully. Then I got the feeling of diahreia. I think I slept a couple hours on the couch and then hubby came down to get me. Still feel poopy this morning. Currently at my 38 week appt, hoping they give me some good news.

I actually had the same thing last night and also this morning. I'm nearly 37 weeks! Must be our body's getting ready and having 'practice' contractions!

Yes I have during my 35,36 weeks a lot of contractions I went to the Hospital twice buf they would tell me I was only 1cm dilated and that the contractions where normal and just to rest and keep hydrated. I'm 38 weeks 3 days today and I haven't had any can't wait till my next appointment tuesday hope my Dr tells me she is going to enduce me.
