Husband got angry because I asked for help

Since our first baby was born my husband hasn't helped hardly at all. He has changed 4 diapers and that's it. Our baby is 4 months old and im a stay at home mom. He comes home from work at 5 and sits on his phone till pretty much bedtime. Well he came home and was rude to me as usual ( acting like he didn't really want to talk to me or anything) I was feeding our son some baby cereal and asked if he wanted to try it and he said no. And I asked him if he would bath him because I needed a little break. He got all pissed and went to do it and I was trying to explain his routine to him and he told me " well then why don't you just do it" to which I responded " well you're the father and I think its good for you to be a part of this and do things for him sometimes". He bathed him and put him in his bed and I heard him screaming and crying. My husband didn't rock him or anything just put him in his bed and went and sat in the bathroom. I was really angry and went and calmed him down for him to fall back asleep. The night before when he got home from work i asked him if he would watch him for a minute while I ran and did something and he couldn't even pick him up to hold him. Am I wrong? Has anyone else experienced this? I want him to actually have something to do with our son:(
