How did you find out you were having twins?

I had gone to ER cause I was feeling super sick.  Hubby kept joking about that's because your having twins. Lol (i am a twin myself) so ER Trip after an early sono doctor comes in and Says CONGRATS YOUR HAVING TWINS! Hubby got so emotional, Tears of Joy. I was laughing/crying. Best news! Twins. Now 19 weeks boy/girl Twins

How I found out is similar to you, I work in an ER and was having near syncopal episodes, I knew something wasn't right so they had me check in. They wanted a urine sample and I told him if they wanted a pregnancy test to please let me perform it (I had a feeling), sure enough, positive! How I found out it was twins was my midwife sent me over for a dating ultrasound and the tech goes "ummm, did you know there's two?" I said "ummm no"😂

I went in for my dating scan and the sonographer said, "ok... there's something I have to tell you. There's more than one baby in there."

I blurted out, "is it from the same egg?"

And she said yes.

I just found out last week they're girls 💕💕

I found out at my pregnancy confirmation ultrasound. So we knew right away. I have twins heavy in my family. We were not at all shocked.

I went in for my 6 week ultrasound and she goes have we talked about multiplies? I said ummm no...? She then says well there's 2 in here! I'm also 19 weeks, with identical girls=)

Went to er at 5 weeks because I passed out at work. Er Dr ask if twins ran in my family( which they do very strongly).  Saw 2 clear sacs and 2 fetal poles but only 1 heartbeat.  Went in for follow up at 6 with with ob and confirmed di/di twins.  Now 34 weeks with b/g twins c section 3 weeks out!

I went to the hospital bc I was shaking all over and felt so bad and that's when we found out I have twin brother's plus twin cousin's and my husband has them on his side bad to but I never thought I would have them lol

I had an ultrasound done at 7 weeks and the ultrasound tech looked super happy. Made me feel relieved because I assumed that meant she had seen a heartbeat. She showed me the screen and showed me the placenta and where my baby was and the heartbeat and I melted. I had noticed the second one on the screen, but was so preoccupied with seeing my baby's heart fluttering that it didn't even register. Twins were the farthest thing from my mind (no family history, natural, ftm...) then she pointed to the second one and said that there was my second baby! I had to ask "twins!?" And when she said yes I started balling. I was so overwhelmed and happy. The best part was when they brought my husband in after and I got to watch his reaction. I tell people that I cried and he laughed :) we were just in absolute shock. This ultrasound picture is my favourite because I spent so many hours just staring at it in disbelief. I found out at 5 weeks! I knew I was pregnant 2 days after I missed my period so made an appointment with my dr. I thought I was 7 weeks pregnant bc of longer cycles. I go in and tell her that I'm worried I might be having an ectopic pregnancy since I'm having pain that I never felt before with my other pregnancies. So they do an ultrasound and ask if twins run in my family. I say no, and she says well it looks like they do now. Turns out the pain I was feeling was round ligament pain from my uterus growing so quickly.
