Help please!

I just started bc almost 2 weeks ago. I started bleeding pretty bad about 3 days ago and it hasn't stopped. I have a lot of clots. I also have had really bad pain like cramps for 3 days. My period isn't for another like 10 days or so. Would this be normal? I know that last month I had a pretty painful ovarian cyst and I could have another which could be causing the pain now.
