False negative blood pregnancy test?

I had a blood test done Saturday  (a week ago tomorrow April 1st) and it was negative, well today I took 3 at home tests and they were very faint but it was there. Is it possible to have a false negative blood pregnancy test?

I had a negative serum HCG 4 days prior to having my positive urine test with my last daughter.    Depending on what test they ordered.    Qualitative they just spin the serum from the blood and use that on the same pregnancy test as urine.  Quant will give you a number.   So yes it is entirely possible

If you had a negative blood test a week ago and are only getting faint positive urine tests now, it likely wasn't a false positive. You just weren't pregnant yet.

Following!!! I had a blood test done Monday - which was negative...and I am still testing with at home tests hoping for a different answer! Can you post the pictures of the tests??

It depends on what level HCG your doctor considers positive. It could be that you weren't far along enough when you had the blood test done.
