is it the baby moving??

Question

I'm 17 weeks plus 2 days. And I think I'm feeling the baby. But idk... if I put my hand on my belly I kinda feel like little movements as if they were kicks but I'm not feeling them inside me.. just outside and sometimes I will feel it even if I don't have my hand there. I'm not sure what it is. My friend said I would feel the kicks from the inside first and I don't know if I'm feeling that or not. Idk😫 just wanna be able to feel my baby. But I know it might take up to like 20 weeks before I'll start to feel my baby😭

I started feeling movement around 17 weeks but I did feel it from the inside as well as the outside. For me it felt like a muscle twitch or like popcorn was popping in there lol

I'm 17 weeks also & pretty sure I been feeling baby the past week , I can't feel it if I put my hand there but I sure can feel pokes from the inside !

I'm having the same problem, I'm 17&3 :( it's so frustrating at a FTM not knowing what everything should feel like! 
I have no words of wisdom for you to know if it's baby or not but just wanted to say that we're at the same point in our pregnancies and you're not alone with being unsure about it!

I didn't feel my baby till 22 weeks.. 17 is too early you may feel fluttering which is so light but it's ok your fine if you feel nothing... my doctor even told me that I was probably having gas when I said I thought I was feeling him before... you will def know when your baby kicks its such a different feeling... it's almost shocking I jumped out of my seat bcuz it scared me!
