I gave birth 6 weeks ago on Tuesday and i am still having bright red, sometimes mild gushing bleeding. Most articles i read said by 4 - 6 weeks it should be slowing down to light brown spotting. I have my 6 week check up at gynae on wed and will check with his rooms on Monday, but just wanted to ask if this heavy bleeding is normal or if anyone else is still bleeding like this after 6 weeks. Going through a pack of pads every 2 days.
