I was just thinking why do we call it a pussy and not its actual name? Who came up with "let's call vagina's pussies!"

It originated a few hundred years ago in England, it was a term commonly used to refer to protitues because they would behave like cays that were in heat. Over time, for whatever reason, people started using it to refer to genitalia

Its funny af tho because pussy also refers to pusillanimous which is a word meaning cowardly, timid however since not many people know that they just use pussy for genitalia instead

Seems like a degrading term tbh, like 'oh you're a pussy', And it's the same word to describe females genitals even tho it's a magnificent creation that can clean itself and pop out babies. Idk which came first but meh. I don't see how it relates to cats.
