Depo shot?

Pros and cons really thinking about getting it. Help?

Like what has already been said, its different for everyone. I started bleeding a week after I got it and didn't stop for over a month. Then ended up with a massive blood clot. Otherwise most people have a pretty good reaction to it.

Depo is very different for Everyone. I was on it for 5 years and for that that 5 years I never got my period. Never even spotted or got any symptoms that related to PMS. After the fifth year I thought it definitely wasn't okay to not have your period for that long so I went to my dr and she put me on the pill after my 1st cycle. 1st period only lasted 2 days but I then would start bleeding randomly every other week. I ended up being hospitalized from a coupe of cysts and that pain lasted about 2 years. I was on all kinds of pain meds and nausea meds and bed rest for about 2 weeks every 6months from the severity of the cysts. Again, everyone has different experiences and this is just mine. I absolutely loved it while I was on it but boy did I regret it 10000% the second I came off of it.
