folic acid
We are TTC and my OB has me on 1 mg of folic acid due to history of NTD. I took the pill yesterday on an empty stomach and with 30 minutes I had the worst chest/rib pains and it radiated into my neck. It eventually went away after I ate. I read that too much folic acid can cause acid reflux, affect GERD etc. Has any one else experienced this or anything similar?
