I found I out was pregnant about 9 days ago. I started bleeding very heavy with clots about 4 days ago. I ended up going into my doctors office so they could check my hcg levels. They said that they were on the lower side but that it was still very early. I had to wait 2 days and get my levels checked again. They had almost doubled. She did a pelvic exam and it showed that the blood was coming from my uterus but she didn't really explain more and that I needed to get my blood drawn in another 2 days and go from there. The bleeding is now starting to slow down but the cramping still hurts. I had a miscarriage 3 months ago and I thought that was happening again. Why has my hcg doubled?
