My first pregnancy I was laid off so I never did maternity leave or SDI or etc. This time around i'm fully employed and don't know the process of how to proceed with all this maternity leave things. When do I apply for maternity leave? How far should i be? I found out there's something called family leave insurance for bonding time. Anyone apply for that? Is there a certain time that i need to apply for it? How long does it take? I have no friends in the state I live in and any of my coworkers are old and say these things are new 😒
