I was with my mom today and we were talking about names for the baby (currently only 10.5 weeks) I told her for a girl I really liked the name Brooklyn. My mom looked at me like I was crazy and said that was a boys name. What do you all think ? Her full name would be Brooklyn Clara

I have never heard of Brooklyn as a boy name... I have two girl cousins on opposite sides of the family each named Brooklyn, and my husband's cousin married a girl named Brooklyn.

I didn't even think that was a gender-neutral name until I met a boy in one of my preschools with this name. I definitely think GIRL!
