it's clear to me.. I'm a doormat
Hubby: you do too much for people, you need to slow down and stop taking orders/favours when you know they won't do anything for you.
Me: yeah well you know me, I'm a sucker for helping people...
Hubby: well don't, be selfish for once like when your mum & dad text you to pick them up from town at 10/11 at night....
*last night I get a text from "the hubby" @ 23;34 just as I was getting into bed after a 9hr shift, bathed, done the housework etc, and have to be up at 5:30am for work*
Hubby: I went to the gym after work and I've just realised I've padlocked my bag in the locker with my keys inside, can you come pick me up.
Me: but the boys were a nightmare getting to sleep tonight and Tommie's just gone off. And it's guna be a mission getting them up and out to the car
Hubby: great I'm guna have to walk home, probs take me 2 hours.
NOW I FEEL GUILTY.
Hoisting my two boys out of bed, and pregnant btw to the car.
So I Picked him up. (Nice wife aye)
Tonight, texted him, WHERE ARE YOU?
Hubby: at the gym
Me: oh ok, you can bring home dinner.. (KFC is opposit the gym 😏)
Hubby: WHAT! Really?! That means I have to carry my bag and a KFC on the bus. (Bus journey is like 10/15mins)
So basically he's just been a hypocrite, me helping others that won't do nout for me oh and my boys (our boys, mine when he's a dick) Hahahaha.
