breastfeeding and energy drinks ?

I'm a nurse, and working a double tonight. i was wondering if it'd be safe to have a monster or a 5hr energy shot over night? I won't pump or breastfeed during the time it would be in my system. Is this ok? I feel like it's similar to drinking alcohol? I was just curious how other moms thought.

In our breast feeding class they said that where a serving of alcohols takes only a. Your to leave your system, caffeine take days. So just be aware that you'll be packing a serious punch in your breast milk.

Mybe double check with a doctor. As far as I know the issue is the large amount of caffiene. But if you wont be feeding while at work i feel like it would be okay. But i dont drink anything stronger than coffee so i don't know first hand.
