36 weeks - labor signs?

Consistent, severe lower back pain, an increase in Braxton Hicks (real contractions?), and an increase in discharge. Also have had some cramps. Haven't noticed my mucus plug yet. Are these signs of labor nearing?

Apart from the severe lower back pain, those sound more like typical late pregnancy symptoms to me.

I've heard that the back pain could be back labor. You might want to check in with your OB or midwife about it.

The back pain could also be your baby's head dropping lower into your pelvis and pressing on your back from inside.
