Best ways to get rid of cramps?

My cramps are painful x10 when I'm on my period. Does anyone know any good remedies to stop the pain? I'd rather not take a bunch of pills if I can help it ?

Okay, it IS a pill, but just one, and it will probably help other symptoms, too: about ten years ago I accidentally found out that antidiarrheals are the BEST for cramps, hands down. Get some immodium

Heating pad is great, and if I can remember to drink raspberry tea at the onset, I've found that to work as well as Tylenol, in heavy cramp months I need multiple cups per day.

Stay active that helps me a lot I know sometimes it's hard but try and you'll see that the pain goes away :)

Whenever I dealt with bad cramps, I drank ginger ale. It worked out for me all the time.

I used to have the worst cramps since I got my IUD but realized they get better if I watch my diet a bit before my period, try eating more fruits and less sugar, do some exercise and if that doesn't work you could try having some natural stuff to ease the pain a bit, like chamomile tea :)

I get like that too :( the best way is to drink nice warm tea with your pills or if not Drink your pill before a shower.A nice hot shower helps me all the time or you can sit in a nice hot bath :)

Hot water bottle; massage your belly with two fingers in a circular motion about two fingers below belly button; go for a walk; drink plenty of water; get down on all fours them let your bum fall towards your legs, widen your knees a bit, bend your elbows and let your head rest on your hands ( this lets uterus 'hang' a bit without being squashed). Oh and get someone to rub your lower back, using tennis balls either side of your spine is great. Also acupuncture. Hope this helps?!
