Is it bad im not ready to let go yet?

I'm not ready to go to work yet. I want to spend every second with my daughter babies grow up so fast and you don't get these moments back. I'm really emotionally and mentally not ready to go back into the field until another year 😩. I have people to help me out but I don't want to rely so hard on people. 😔 I just love her so much

It is not bad, it is completely natural. No baby should be seperated from its mother before she's weaned. For humans this is between 6 months and 1 year. This is years and years of evolution and instinct. It killed me that US mothers aren't even given the same respect as dogs who by law are not seperated from puppies until they wean. 😡😡😡

Me too. I have to go back in 2 1/2 weeks. ☹️ Im glad that my husband will have our daughter while Im at work though. It makes it a tad easier❤

I'm right there with you. I go back to work tomorrow! 😩and I'm so not ready. I wish I could've had 6 months of maternity leave instead of 12 weeks. But I did start her in daycare this past week to get into the rountine of dropping her off and so she can get comfortable with her caretaker. We only did half days, but I think it helped both of us to do that. Ugh! Why do we need both incomes to survive?!

I know exactly how you feel. I am definitely not ready to leave my baby girl. Luckily I have an amazing boss that's let me stay out until I'm ready. Even tho I never will be, so I'll have to go back eventually. Probably next month or so 😩
