I don't have an answer for you as I'm still ttc for almost 2 years now. I'm almost done with af and I checked my saliva microscope for the first time in awhile this morning and had full ferning (which you're not supposed to get until a few days before ovulation)..so weird. I've never even checked during my period but makes me wonder because we don't bd when af is in town. But in my case maybe af comes with an estrogen surge and that's what causes ferning.

Did you take a pregnancy test? Sometimes people get + opks when pregnant...maybe af wasn't really af? Hopefully so! Good luck! I would for sure bd either way!
