I need some help.

My period is brown. Everything that I've read mean old blood. And it's not a lot. Sometimes it gets on my panties or when I wipe after using the bathroom.

Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know why it happens? I'm think that if it persists I will need to go see my doctor but this has never happened to me before.

Please help. Thank you.
