What determines your period pain ? Weight?

Does anyone know if period pain and being overweight have anything to do with each other? If you are over weight is the pain worse and if you are closer to "normal" body weight it hurts less? Or do you think it's genetics. What determines period pain???

It has a lot to do with he state of your health and genetics, so weight could effect it. From what I've determined, it is mostly correlated with how much a woman exercises. The more active you are through the month, the less you cramp up. That's why I've had all of my girl friends complain of worse cramps in the winter.

Hormones, over weight, genetics, pain tolerance. Anything and everything can cause a varying of pain around your period
