Mila Kate was born yesterday at 2:43 am in the triage room while waiting to be admitted. Contractions started about 8:30 pm. ( all our family thought it was an April fools joke ) Got to the hospital at 1am and was only 3cm. At 2:30am I was 4cm and they were trying to get me admitted. She wasn't waiting and in the next 13 minutes my water broke and her head was out. The awesome nurses hear my screams and all came running just in time to catch her. 7 pounds 0.4 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. I was 38+5 weeks. Our nicknames at the hospital are now Flash and Flash JR.
