What do you think about doing a blood test to find out the babies gender?

The blood test is really for genetic problems, Down's Syndrome and some other major ones. The gender is a side result from the chromosomal analysis.

It sounds like more people are able to get it covered by insurance, but it used to only be covered for people with higher risk of genetic issues with their babies.

Getting it done on Thursday at 10wks. 
But waiting to reveal gender until May 6th

But I'm happy to get it done to make sure baby is healthy

My boyfriend wants to know, I told him to not tell me I would like to wait and see the ultrasound ..

I got the Harmony test, and said no to the gender option, I got the test because I wanted peace of mind. I waited till the anatomy scan to find out the gender.

It's so much more than the gender :) checks the overall health

I don't have a choice. They don't offer that here in nz that I am aware of. I will be asking my midwife next week though.
