Need to rant

Now keep in mind im adopted and this is no secret to anyone who knows me... my "friend" and i have both had a hard time ttc. She was talking about making an appointment to see her doc the following week the said she hopes something simple will work because she can't afford ivf or adoption. Then said " i cant see us doing adoption anyway cuz i cant understand how u could look at a child thats not urs and still love it like its ur own could u honesty love a child thats not urs?" Needless to say i was stunned and couldnt string 2 words together! I finally said well my mom did it twice! Her response was "well that doesn't count she got u guys brand new. I couldn't do it with like a 6 or 8 month old" like my mom got me off swap and sell or something! How can u tell someone who is adopted that u cant see how anyone could love an adopted child? At the time i couldnt even say anything i was so stunned and the hubbys were not around to hear it so now its been to long to bring it back up but im still so mad about it! I mean am i crazy to still feel mad about it ?
