Let's Talk Herpes...
My husband and I both have herpes, I would usually never announce this to the public, but the few people whom I have told about it made me feel disgusting, so I wanna get the facts out there
1. Neither my husband or myself became aware of this until last year, he didn't intentionally give it to me, and I didn't give it to him.
2. I WAS A VIRGIN WHEN I MET MY HUSBAND!
3. Anybody can get this disease, a cold sore is a form of herpes.
4. My husband has notified every woman he's been with to get checked.
I'm not saying I'm proud to have this, because I'm not, but I'm so tired of being called a whore, or slut over an accident. People need to realize that shit happens, it doesn't make you a bad person.
*Just to add some additional information *
Herpes is only transferable during a period of break out, which is usually caused by stress, and can also be contained by medication, I go to the doctor regurally to keep it in check.
