Do you believe "If you're not ready for kids, you shouldn't be having sex"?

I see a lot of people on here saying this, so I just want to know why or why not

Absolutely not. Children are not a punishment for sex. Sex is a perfectly natural part of life. Comprehensive sex education gives teens and young adults the knowledge they need to protect themselves properly against pregnancy and STIs. And if birth control fails, there are alternatives such as abortion or adoption. But there are plenty of people who have absolutely no desire to have children, ever, and many doctors will not perform sterilization on people under a certain age. So it would be extremely unfair to say these people who do not want children are not ready for sex.

No. I believe that if ur not ready for kids, u use condoms, birth control pills and pull out method. However,  abstinence is NOT the "best" . That's just evil. Sorry.

No but I do believe that you shouldn't have unprotected sex if you are not ready for a child. Have fun but stay safe!

If you have safe protected sex then it's fine. Double up, use birth control and condoms. Heck you could even throw in the pull out method. No one should tell someone they can't have sex because they're not ready to be a parent.

Sex is for more than reproduction! Do people really expect married couples to not have sex at all unless they want a baby?? 
I think you shouldn't have unprotected sex unless you're ready for a baby. I think you should be extra safe if you aren't ready for a baby, and you should have a plan in place for just in case you DO end up pregnant. 
But no, I think expecting everyone who isn't trying to have a baby to stay abstinent. That's ridiculous.

No, but I do think if you don't understand that even protected sex risks pregnancy and that preventative steps should be taken very seriously you shouldn't have sex.
